There’s more than you think.

Scarcity mindset means you think that there is not enough in the world for everybody. That the entire world is a zero-sum game, and for you to win someone else has to lose. (or for someone else to win, you have to lose).

This leads to fear, anxiety, and then the big one: envy.

As Charlie Munger famously said, the world doesn’t run on greed, it actually runs on envy.

Abundance mindset is when you think that there are endless opportunities. Instead of looking at depleting resources that we’re all fighting over, you see that we have created wealth opportunities for everyone, all over the world. New tools and systems that empower creation of more things, and give access to more resources than ever before in human history.

Abundance vs Scarcity is a choice.

Scarcity is probably your default (you’re not alone). So in order to change your mindset (and lower your blood pressure) about the world, you need to practice Abundance.

Here are some powerful ways to do this:

  • Be Thankful: you can’t be envious when you’re extremely thankful for what you have right now.

  • Be Generous: when you release your hold on money, it transforms the way you think and feel about your financial future.

  • Be Helpful: there is transformative power in choosing to be a kind and helpful person. Smile at a stranger today.

Go forth and live abundantly!.

Onward and upward,
