Dumb, or Dumber

Priceless billionaire advice for competing against anybody, anytime, anywhere

More from Charlie.

Charlie Munger has another great saying that is so simple, it’s easy to miss when you’re thinking about taking risk. This works for investing in the stock market or a new business, going into business, buying a business, flipping assets, or any other arena where you need to outsmart people to keep a financial edge.

And that is: “look for stupid competition”.

Don’t play games where you have a disadvantage compared to competition, from day one.

You need an edge.

Play to your strengths.

Go into areas of business where you’re smarter, wiser, more experienced in the areas that matter.

Enough from me… we’re keeping it short and sweet this week.

Hear it from the man himself:

Remember, you don’t need to outrun a bear.

You just have to outrun the person next to you.

Where my smart folks at?

Onward and upward,
